A partial foil consists of foiling the hair with highlights and/or lowlights on the top sections of the head. This partial foil is great for a more natural, “darker underneath” look, or when you are in between full foil appointments to refresh the most noticed areas.
A full foil includes having your entire head of hair highlighted and/or lowlighted. The amount of highlights & lowlights that are used really depends on your desired look. If you are looking for a very solid blonde look, more highlights are needed. If you are looking for a more dimensional natural look, then less highlights, and maybe even some lowlights are needed.
This is a multi-dimensional technique that includes coloring the hair in-between the foils. This method adds dimension and/or blends any gray or unwanted tones.

When applying the color for a Balayage, you sweep the color through small triangle sections of the hair onto a board or foil, giving it the natural transition down into the lighter color. In Balayage, there are dark pieces left on the bottom to create dimension and a more natural look. This technique looks like natural sun-kissed highlights throughout the hair. The transition is more natural and it is less maintenance than an ombre.
Retouch (less than 1 inch) for an all over bleached blonde.
Anytime you lighten your hair there is always an underlying pigment that shows up. These are sometimes red, copper, orange or yellow tones; this is normal. Depending results from the lightening process, it may take a more than once to properly cancel out these unwanted underlying tones. Toners may need to be reapplied every 2-4 weeks.
Coloring just the re-growth to match the existing color on the mid-shaft & ends of your hair.
All over color is one single color applied from the roots to the ends of the hair.
Breaking the base is the process of lightening the natural new growth very quickly—by 1 to 1 ½ levels—to diffuse (not match) dark roots before, during, after or even in-between a highlighting service.
Every corrective service is dramatically different so a complimentary consultation is required to get the best end result for you.
Most corrective color services will need two or more steps. Additionally, most corrective services result in a noticeably different look for the client. The vast majority of corrective color services require a series of steps, over a few appointments.
There is an extra cost for using more than the normal amount of color or using multiple colors.
